Teacher of Health & Social Care

Contract Type: Full Time

Contract Term: Permanent

Salary: £22,937 - £38,364 (depending on qualifications and experience)

We seek to appoint an outstanding professional with a good honours degree to teach Health & Social Care (BTEC & Access to HE). You should have the ability to engage students’ interests in the subject and enable them to achieve the highest level of personal success.

The post-holder will be responsible for delivery, assessment and verification activites across the programmes. The ability to teach across the science based and mandatory units would be an advantage.

The post may suit an experienced teacher from an FE background, 11-18 school skills centre or training provider; although we welcome applications from less experienced candidates, including suitably qualified industry practitioners, who can demonstrate the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the post.

The successful candidate will join a talented team of teachers who are strongly focused upon raising standards. We have good to outstanding outcomes across all courses in H&SC and we encourage innovative and creative approaches to teaching.

We are seeking a full-time member of staff but there may be opportunities for a suitable candidate to fullfil the position on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of specialist teachers in Computing. The computing department are looking to recruit two enthusiastic full time teachers for their Computer Science A level, BTEC IT and HE Computing courses. We are looking for applicants who can teach all aspects, including hardware, networking and programming.

 

Applicants should have experience of delivering at both Level 3 and HE and will be enthusiastic, conscientious team players who love their subject and want to share this with pupils and colleagues. This post offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of an experienced and dedicated department.

 

We are seeking a full-time member of staff but there may be opportunities for a suitable candidate to fulfil the position on a part time basis.
