General Election Question Time

On Thursday 20th June 2024, we hosted a General Election '24 Question Time here at John Leggott College. 

As part of the debate, we welcomed Nic Dakin from the Labour Party, Darren Haley from Reform UK and Neil Jacques from the North Lincolnshire Green Party.

Each Party speaker had the opportunity to introduce themselves, giving students their background & how they got into politics. This was followed by 

each Party speaker explaining what their Party offers & how they would make Britain a better, fairer, more prosperous country. 

After introductions, students participated in a Q&A session asking insightful and interesting questions. It was great to hear answers on topics that are important to our students, allowing them to gain a real insight into the ways each Party could impact the future of their generation.
