Feedback from former Parent Governor:
“The Corporation/Board of Governors is responsible for the strategic development of the college including the monitoring of financial viability. I see the role as being a “critical friend” - to provide both support and challenge to the Senior Leadership Team. In addition, to be a link between the parents and the college and give a parental perspective on the workings of the college. I found the role challenging and extremely rewarding and have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a parent governor.”
In addition, previous parent governors have found the role helpful in expanding upon their skills set which helps with their current employment and career aspirations.
If you wish to be considered for this position or would like any further information please contact the Director of Governance, Becky Robinson on, beckyrobinson@leggott.ac.uk.
