The SFCA Art Exhibition 2024

This year's Sixth Form Colleges Association Art Exhibition celebrated the next generation of talented young artists. This year's theme, "Living the Dream," invited students to reflect on the people, events, and places that bring joy and delight to their lives.

Students from sixth form colleges across the country showcased their skills through both literal and abstract representations of what makes our hearts sing. The SFCA said;

"This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the arts and advance their place in the curriculum, and their importance in our lives. It is also a time to recognise excellence in sixth form colleges and the creative skills of the students. It is imperative that we keep the arts in education secure and flourishing. If young people are to make a truly valuable contribution to society, even if they are to be successful scientists, engineers, doctors and technicians, they need to develop their creative skills, their artistic sensitivities and their ability to communicate and interact with others."

We are delighted that three of our brilliant students were included in this year's exhibition with 'The Power of Water' by Daniella Ashton, 'Going Home' by Megan Lee and 'Doggy Nan' by Jessie-May Jackson-Parr. A huge well done and congratulations to all the students involved this year.
