John Leggott College is a thriving, successful (OFSTED Grade 2 ‘Good’) 16-19 Sixth Form College. It has consistently been in the top 25% of all schools and colleges for A-Level and top 10% for BTEC. The college’s learners are fantastic and JLC are looking for staff who can harness their talent inspiring them to progress and contribute to a positive culture. 

We are continuously working to be an employer of choice so that we can attract and retain high calibre staff who are proud to work for a leading educational establishment in the area. The College has excellent in-house training for all staff. including NQT’s, RQT’s and aspiring leaders. There are also a range of ongoing CPD opportunities in-house, collaborative projects with other local colleges and external courses.

Conveniently located on a pleasant site in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire the campus is ten minutes from the M180, which is fed directly from the M18 and then the M1.

Staff regularly commute here from most of the towns and conurbations in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, including Pontefract, Doncaster, Sheffield, Grimsby, Lincoln and Hull.
