Work Experience at the BBC

Student Chloe is working towards a career in journalism after JLC. Recently, she had the fantastic opportunity to undertake work experience with the BBC, giving her industry insight into her future career pathway.

Chloe said, “I was able to have work experience at BBC Look North and Radio Humberside, by a guided tour from one of Radio Humberside’s Journalism Coordinators (assistant producers). I gained valuable insight into the role and what is expected day-to-day. I also got some behind the scenes of live TV and Radio - and it certainly is different compared to watching/listening on the other side!”
